OEMSCA In-person Training with Public Consulting Group on the Medicare Ground Ambulance Data Collection System

Public Consulting Group (PCG) will be joining the Ohio EMS Chiefs Association (OEMSCA) on Tuesday, April 25th for an informational and training session to provide an overview of the Medicare Ground Ambulance Data Collection System (MGADC). Medicare experts from PCG will cover compliance, data elements to be collected, Instrument submission, and best practices. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and are encouraged to bring their data. Reports such as CAD, billing, expenditures, facility and vehicle assets, and staffing are all essential to completing the 13 sections of the Instrument.

MGADC is a mandatory CMS requirement for all providers of ground ambulance services. Those departments that do not comply will be faced with a 10% reduction to their Medicare payments for a full year. To check when your department is responsible for starting their collection period, click here.
