The Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) application is open until Friday, February 10, 2023, at 5:00pm ET. The grant opportunity’s focus is on increasing public safety and the safety of firefighters with respect to fire and fire-related hazards. Eligible fire departments, nonaffiliated emergency medical service (EMS) organizations, and State Fire Training Academies (SFTAs) are able to receive financial assistance for critical training and equipment through this opportunity.
